Hi!
I don't usually join craft forums, but I'm in the process of starting my first ever quilt, and while researching a bit I stumbled upon this place and... well, this was such an amazing place. So much knowledge and so much warmth!

Other than quilting, I mostly do knitting, sewing, bookbinding and weaving. And marbling, which was part of my bookbinding education but which will now be part of my quilting in marbled fabrics.

I look forwards to hanging out here and getting to share all of your wonderful creations!

Howdy & welcome from Texas! So good to see someone from Sweden here. It's a long story but I have a pen-pal from Sweden that I've been writing to for 60 years. We've met one time when she came to USA in the year 2000.
You will like this quilting board. There is so much knowledge here & everyone is like family.

Hello and welcome from an Iowa girl. I am the granddaughter of Swedish immigrants..as a child I always knew they were planning a surprise as they would talk in Swedish. Unfortunately all I remember is "tack sa mika" and "varsagod"...but good words to know in my book. My farmer grandfather had apprenticed as a tailor in the late 1800's, but never forgot his love of sewing. One of my fondest memories is watching him sew at his treacle machine.
