Hello, new quilting friends. My name is Helen Marie (71 yrs. old) and I live in Augusta, GA with my husband and Skipper, a Keeshond. My quilting began during the Bi-centennial in 1976 and I have enjoyed the journey. I have taught classes in Atlanta and Augusta. The quilting highlight each year is attending the Fall weekend South Eastern Stitchers Retreat in Mansfield, GA. While there, we eat a lot, stitch a lot, laugh a lot, and sleep a little. What fun!

At the moment, my quilting has come to a halt following rotator cuff surgery, but that will heal and I will be back at the machine soon. Until then, maybe I can get a little applique done.
