I am brand new to the Quilter's Message Board. Looking forward to conversing with you all! My name is CeCe and I have been quilting for many years. My grandmother taught me how to hand quilt when I was 18 yrs. old. We began with scissors and a cardboard template for my first 9-patch. I did hand piece two hexagonal tops. They still need to be quilted some 40 yrs. later. Quilting is my passion and I am on the sewing machine or my longarm every day. One of my favorite teachers is Bonnie Hunter. She makes beautiful quilts with scraps of fabric. I hope you are all happily quilting today.

Hello there and welcome from another So Cal girl. I am in the infamous IE. I too, have not been here long but am trying to post pics of some of my quilts each week. There is a lot here and lots I have not even looked at yet. What area are you in? Close enough to go to Road to California and the the Long Beach International Festival? Road is practically in my back yard and Long Beach is less than an hour's drive. We book a tour bus every year. Look forward to seeing some of your work.
