Hello from the Arizona Desert
 

I've been lurking since October and figured I'd better introduce myself. I'm a single Mom and Grandma of 2, all girls; all in different levels of sewing expertise. All living in Wisconsin. I live in the desert south of Phoenix with my 6 dogs and 4 horses. Work full time and quilt on weekends.

I've sewed for as long as I can remember, but didn't start quilting till this August when my Granddaughter came to visit and asked me to teach her. Since then I've completed 7 quilts and am looking to buy a used Longarm. My next challange is attempting to put pictures up of my quilts.

Anyone else from Arizona out there?

Hi AZ - I live in San Tan Valley, originally from Montana. My husband and I have been here since Jan. 2010 and LoVe it!! I started quilting last January and quilt each Tuesday with some other friends. We currently send our quilts to Alabama for LA cuz she's so very reasonable. Excited to hear you have 6 dogs (and horses)- before retiring I owned a Pet Grooming Salon and got to play with animals all day long. Love to hear from you and other AZ folks.

I lived in Tucson for 29 years. I retired and moved to Alabama 4 years ago. Love it here. I wish I would of done it many many years ago. Don't get me wrong there was a purpose for us to move there, God worked alot of miracles for us there. Well I hope you have a wonderful day and Merry Christmas.
