Hello from Atlanta, GA
Hello, my name is Kat, and I am new here. I have been collecting machines for years, but always took them in for servicing. I am now starting to do my own servicing which lead me here. I have 12 vintage machines, 2 Industrial machines, and 1 Chinese patcher. (Think singer 29K, but rattier :)) I started restoring a few but had to put on the brakes because I was clearly mucking things up, so I decided to come here and learn a thing or two from you great people. This last week I have been doing nothing but reading the boards, and it has helped me tremendously.
Thanks for having me. Kat |
Welcome aboard! I spent a number of years refurbishing vintage machines for a charity and used them myself as well. Just this past fall a friend gave me a lovely modern machine -- have to admit I love the self threader!
This is a fun place full of nice people who take the time to answer questions and share their knowledge. Hope you enjoy your time here and with the machines. |

Welcome from a fellow collector in South Dakota. Both my adult kids live in the Atlanta metro area, so I've gotten quite a few machines from that location.
