Welcome. I and my 1 wk DH spent a couple of days of our Honeymoon, at Camp AuSable.[The Adventist Camp there] He went there many years growing up. Great area.So peaceful in the woods and, on my one and only canoe ride. We are in SC but are from Cheboygan,Mi. DH and our son graduated from Cedar Lake Academy.

Welcome from Kentucky! I have many fond memories of canoeing on the Au Sauble while growing up in Michigan. Someday we hope to retire back to there also.

Welcome from another Michigander from Midland and Cheboygan. One question-your house is very close to the river. Rivers flood on occaision-has it happened to you? I think it would be scary living that close.
