I'm Teri. In my numerous searches for quilt videos, patterns, and everything else quilt related, I stumbled on this site. I'm looking forward to exploring it some more and will be picking brains for "how do I" type questions! I do have two mentors here who are helping me quite a bit with my new ventures in quilting, but it always helps to have more opinions!

Right now, I'm finishing up my first quilt that I totally designed myself. It's a cross, and it's interesting that I am finishing it up this week. All I have left to do is the binding, and I need to find a particular pin that I want to add to the top where I'm putting some ribbon. After I finish it, I'll post a picture. Just don't look too closely - there are a LOT of mistakes! :roll: :oops: :lol:

Oh yes - ETA - I live in Tucson, but originally from Cleveland and Dayton Ohio, and lived for a bit in the DC area... just thought I'd add that small bit of info.

I used to visit Tucson yearly, when my aunts lived there. It was especially delicious to come at Christmas, to get away from the cold and snow up north. The locals could always tell that we were visitors, because we were in shorts and sandals, playing with the kids on the swings, and the locals were in cords and sweaters!
