My name is Becky, but my husband and a lot of our clients refer to me as "The Boss" which my dear husband started :) I've been reading this QB since March of this year because I wanted to make some quilted coasters to sell at a craft fair. Needless to say I haven't wanted to revel myself to all of you because I'm in such awe of all the beautiful quilts that you post on this board. I hope to one day start to make even one quilt that I can post on this QB. Our business keeps me busy full time and we just recently took in my 92 year old Dad. He's such a great Dad and I love him dearly but it definitley is some work. Anyway, I do other crafts such as cross stitch, making some jewelry and I like to crochet ripple afghans. I did learn how to sew as a much younger girl (54 now) and I made an attempt at a quilt (all squares) when I was 22. I still have the top. You are such a wonderful group of people and look forward to learning from all of you.

Welcome from New Hampshire! If you like doing handwork, you can handpiece a quilt and that way you can take it with you wherever you go and work on it if you have a couple of minutes. All that time adds up and you'd be surprised how quickly a top can be made. This board is great and you will get lots of ideas here.
