I have just come across this site while looking at quilt fabrics from a US supplier. Its a lot easier to get a big range of cottons thn it is over here. I have just organised to get my latest piece quilted so that my son can take it with him when he goes away to university this fall.
I teach Chemistry to help find my fabric habit( and pay the bills),and there isn't much time left after all the marking! Still it keeps me sane. |
Welcome, Melissa!! So glad you joined us!!
Cheers!! :D:D |

Hello Melissa, I used to live in Scotland and my Grand-parents were from Edinburgh such a wonderful City, I wish I was there today for the Royal Wedding. I now live on the Isle of Anglesey where the the Prince and new Princess live and work.
I know what you mean about fabrics, I really couldn't afford my addiction if it wasn't for buying my fabrics from across the pond. My favourite fabric site is: http://www.thousandsofbolts.com/index.cfm where I can get 6 yards of fabric, that fits in the USPS envelope for under the £18 import limit so with PP I get my 6 yards for £28 approx, which is only £4.50 - £4.70 per yard, my local LQS sells metres from about £7.50 - £10    |
