I am new here. I hate to say that my grandmother tried to teach me to sew when I was young but I had no interest in it. Sadly when I found out my grandmother was dying of cancer I decided to make her a quilt. From that time on I have loved sewing and making quilts. I just wish I had listened to her and learned all she knew about sewing.......So know I am trying to teach my daughter (who is 7) how to quilt. Unlike me she is very much into it.... :)

Hello and welcome. I understand how you feel. My mother tried to teach me things, and now that she's gone, I wish I'd listened. That's life, I guess.
