I found templates in the craft section of the scrapbook section at Wally World...I put stars on my border just scattered them where I thought they looked good....good luck in picking out something special ...and you can do it! Have fun quilting....:-)

Welccome from Texas. I'm fairly new to quilting and haven't tried FMQ. I enjoy hand quilting. I traced a stencil onto my border and then hand quilted. It turned out really pretty.You will love it here.
