Hi!I'm Afton and I am a beginning quilter. I just made a baby quilt for my niece, a nine square pattern that was pretty simple. I hand piece and hand quilt. I find the handwork soothing, and it makes me think of the hand made quilts my great grandmother made for us as kids, I always admired them.
I would love some help with easy pattern ideas and hand piecing and hand quilting advice.

I too find hand piecing very relaxing. I have a 45 minute drive to and from work each day.....my DH drives and I quilt!
You can find a wealth of free simple patterns on the internet, just do a search and explore!

You can draw a 1/4 inch line on the wrong side of the pieces.
