Hi and welcome from MA.
|
Small towns are nice, but I need something that doesn't roll up their sidewalks at 5pm.
I might be out in that area during Neewollah. If I am, I'll let you know. We could meet up for some coffee or something. In laws live right on Main St in Indy and we usually just walk over to the big corner to watch the parade[/quote] 5pm?? You mean there are places open that late in the day? :-D Yes, that would be nice. There is a new coffee shop in Indy near main street; used to be a gas station. Haven't been in there yet, but would like to try some of their java. Jack |
I've been in there. It's the one that used to be on Penn that had the Health Food Store attached to it. Apparently the rent was raised on the old place and when the gas station closed down, the price was right and they moved in there. The coffee is pretty good. They have free wi-fi too! :)

Welcome for Oklahoma. Your fish and fish pond is beautiful. I am glad you are going to try your hand at quilting, wish my hubby would. Quilting is a lot like woodworking. You cut up fabric and wood and they put it all back together and turn it into something beautiful. Hubby and I have a little wood shop as our together hobby.

Hi Jack -
Welcome from Richmond, VA. Glad to see you here! You did tell me you joined... and, just curious, had you already joined when you received my e-mail? I look forward to reading about your journey in quilting. It's a wonderful process. Carol |
Hi Jack, welcome from N.E. Kansas

Welcome from another NEW kansas quilter.

Hello from Lebanon, Oregon! I like your terminology! My girlfriend recently told me that all her other friends "cook" while I "prepare food"! :-) Enjoy quilting!
