Hello All~my name is Stacey and I live in the country in Maine. We have mountains, and cornfields all around :D My husband and I have 4 children, two girls aged 12 and 8, and two boys aged 5 and almost 3. We have our own cabinetry business which is currently being relocated near our home. When we open back up for business we are going to be working side by side together. Which we will both enjoy. I am looking for some friends with similar interests, I have very few friends, by choice, as it is really hard to find someone with the same morals and values, and also with similar interests. I love to quilt, and read (I also love to sew bags, and knit, but those are currently not happening). I am looking forward to meeting many of you.

Welcome from the woods of southern Washington state. My children are grown and we are now retired. I love living in the woods. Always wanted to go to Maine. But you have long winters there, we have a lot of rain. Both are good excuses to be in your sewing room. Welcome.

Hi from another Mainer. I live in the Augusta area but but both my husband and I were originally from the county. I love to quilt and when I have more time I'll have to be in touch with you again

I have a question for people. I used chalk to mark my quilting stencil and am wondering how to get rid of the lines from the chalk. When I use a marker, I just wet it and it goes away. Will the chalk fade or do I have to do something to get rid of theose lines? Thanks for any help that is offered.

I live in Plymouth now, it's just past Newport. I love the DEW Animal Kingdom in Mt. Vernon, I went many years ago in high school, then a few years ago with my children. Mt. Vernon is a very pretty place!!
