I am 60+ years old with 2 daughters, 6 grandkids and 17 step grandkids. I was raised in upstate/western New York, spent most of my adult life in south Florida, and retired to Minnesota to help care for my 4 grandkids here. I have been quilting for just a few years. I, like many, have a huge stash of fabric that I want to try to reduce. However, I have to finish renovating my recently purchased condo before I can really dive in. I have my own quilt frame and dream of a longarm machine - mine is midarm. Life is good!

Three dimensional flowers sampler. I wouldn't want to make a full quilt of these.

The fabric colors are what make this stand out.

My niece's husband died very young leaving two babies. I made this t-shirt quilt for her.

Thanks for the greetings :) The flowers are from a book "Fantastic Fabric Folding" by Rebecca Wat. I picked it up in a quilt shop in North Carolina. However, here is a link to buy it online:

Hi and welcome from St. Paul - which part of the TC are you from? (I'm in the Mac-Grove area). I just finished making the "Card Trick" block for my Anniversary sampler. I love to make that one!

Looks like a nice day today. Hey, we made it, didn't we? We Minnesotans are a tough lot, aren't we? Edie
