Hi, I'm J.M. from the Netherlands. I'm pretty new to quilting, even though I started two years ago. Due to circumstances, I couldn't quilt for about a year and a half after my six month beginners quilting course.

However, I'm currently almost finished with my very first small quilt and working on another quilt top, with three more projects just waiting for me to begin. My greatest challenge is getting my quilting stitches (I handquilt) regular!

Greeting J.M. & Welcome...... from the Windy City area of Illinois. The proper needle is the main key to uniform stitches. Once you get a comfortable rhythm in rocking the needle .....it's almost a given that your stitches will be to your liking.

You're gonna luv it here.......sewwwww much to explore.

J.M. 12-22-2010 11:23 AM

I think it's indeed the rythm that I need to practise. Ah, no matter, I'll get it...someday ;)

(p.s. I love your signature!)
