Welcome from Minnesota. Over the 30 yrs of my dad's retirement, he made and gave away between 2 & 3 dozen quilts. The only one he kept was the very first one he made...100% by hand!!! Even tho' his grandkids are now grown young men and women, they still treasure the quilts he made for them. So...good on ya for sharing of yourself. :D

Pzazz, how wonderful that your Dad made quilts. My grandmother was my inspiration when she was alive, bless her...it's a wonderful feeling when you know that people enjoy and appreciate what you do for them...you don't want to stop. I'm sure your father's quilts were beautiful and I can't imagine doing them by hand too.

After the first one, he learned how to use mom's machine. There was no stopping him after that!!!!! LOL
