I am new to quilting. I also took a 6 week class and learned a lot. I am working on a quilt for my sister-in-law and want to hand quilt it. So if anyone out has any good tips pass them my way.

...and another wave from Sacramento. Sorry I am not a good hand-quilter. I am just now finishing an 8-week course in machine quilting.

I did take a class from Jean Brown on hand quilting using the Aunt Becky tool. You may want to check that out. I'm not sure where she teaches though. Her website is Jeansimpressions.com Give her a look-see.

Hi there. It is getting ready to dump a bunch of snow on us tonight. Tomorrow will be a good day to work on my quilt. What is your favorite quilt shop in the Sacramento area?

Hello from Battle Mountain. Boy, we got dumped on last night-early this morning. Woke up to about 3 inches of snow. I don't hand quilt, but ask at Windy Moon. They might be able to get you hooked up with someone to give you some pointers.
