Hello and Welcome :D :D :D
I love the pattern and fabrics in your sons quilt, what a great HUG 8) 8) 8) |
Your quilt is beautiful.
I didn't realize our fabric was considered cheap! I'm often taken aback by some of the prices. Maybe I should be gratful for the good deal. |
Hello and welcome Sarah. I was born in Hants, Dibden Purlieu, and grew up there, and in Chichester. I love your quilt. I buy most of my stuff from the UK as here we can pay between 18 and 24 euros/metre, so even with postage the UK prices are better. We've been here 19 years and love it (apart from quilt supplies availability and prices!!)

Hi Sara and welcome from another English woman living in France. :D
I grew up on the edge of the New Forest, in Langley. I love Romsey, it's a beautiful town. My best friend at school's Dad and Step Mum lived in Ampfield. :D |
Hi Sharon
It is based on a flying geese pattern that was in a book along time ago, but he insisted he only wanted two colours - i did cheat by finding some green that faded in colour though. Thanks for your comments |
I think that is part of why I like it so much... the way the green fades  Thanks for the info

Hello and welcome from West Virginia, USA.
Your quilt is lovely. |
Hi, we love living here, before we lived in Southampton, although I grew up and went to school over Fareham way. I cannot get over the costs of your fabric, my sister is in the throws of buying a home near Quiberon and i thought it might be an opportunity to get some fabric in France, but maybe not. Thanks for your message. I know that even though we have lovely weather compared to the rest of Uk, yours will be even more sunny! Lucky You!
