Hi Elle, we're no longer in our RV! We finally bought a house again, and I'm really enjoying the sewing space. It's smaller than I'd hoped for but sure roomy compared to my sewing corner in the RV.

CJ,
I just came across your posting and checked out your website. What an awsome life! I love the thought of traveling but hubby and I are really a couple of homebodies. Just had a weeks vacation and he went fishing for a day (yuck), and I and my sister took her kids to the local zoo. LOL! Do I know how to vacation or what???
I love all your sewing. I'm working on my first quilts now. Hope to become as good as all the quilters here. They really impress me. Anyway, welcome to the site. Hoping to see more of your sewing soon.

Welcome and Hafa Adai from Guam!
I had posted to this thread before, but have since changed locations.
Can't wait to see what else you have in store for your space.

Christine, we weren't fulltime RV'ers for the travel :D... my hubby works as a contract engineer/project manager at nuclear power plants, and being in the RV kept us together. However, he's currently on a 6 year contract so we just bought a house.

We are homebodies too, miss our farm dreadfully, so being in a house at least has us overjoyed! And having a sewing room to boot is just frosting on the cake!

Wow, I didn't know there were that many nuclear power plants around. There are two within a 1 hour or so from my home. Cook Nuclear Plant in Michigan and 1 in Michigan City, IN, don't know the name of that one. Glad you landed in a big house and have a sewing room. Again welcome to the board.

We've done Cook in the past, the other you're referring to is probably Palisades, my husband will be traveling there frequently during the next 5 or 6 years.
