Hi Jacquie
I'm from Ayrshire. About 30 minutes from you.We Scots are fair gathering. You are in an excellent area for "Loch Lomond Quilt Show" held every year in churches in and around Dumbarton district.I'm sure you'll enjoy this site as much as I do.

Welcome - I LOVE Scotland. Had many a good holiday there.
I have only been on this site a few days, and I cannot believe what I have found. I don't really do much quilting or patchwork, but have used ideas from the forums and tutorials to create useful items to sell at Church bazaar.

Welcome Jacquie,

A few years ago we visited some friends in Yorkshire and drove off and spent some time in your neighborhood, discovered MacIntosh -- actually stayed near his home/museum in Helensburgh also visited the famous Loch.
Beautiful area -- and you will love this beautiful board -- love to see the Jaanese folded patchwork.
Welcome,
Mary

Love your sewing smilie! I dream of visiting your beautiful country and I enjoy one day workshops too. It's so interesting to see how each person uniquely interprets the same project. Welcome!

Hello from Alabama! It's one of the "southern states" in case you don't know. I've always wanted to visit Scotland. I have "roots" there and in Wales. I am more of a fabric collector, but I do make a few quilts. Anyway, welcome!
