Welcome from Maine, so glad you stumbled upon the forum, there are lots of good ideas and help here. Must be doing your quilting during nap times with your two little ones, or after bedtime for them. I have babysat two of my grandchildren, and the only quilt time I got was during their naps. I have a picture of one of my DGS sleeping in his portacrib next to my sewing machine, it was like white noise for him, it would put him to sleep everytime.

I also started to sew at a young(er) age - but didn't start qullting until I was in my 50's.

Hi from overcast Southern California. I've been sewing and quilting for many years, taught at college level and still take classes whenever I can. I think they're shortcuts to learning new things and having new sewing adventures. When my children were little, they treasured the clothes I made them.
