Welcome from central Alabama. I have never had a quilting class either. I knew how to sew and never even thought I needed to know anything else, so I just jumped in. You will find everyone here very helpful, just ask anything you need to know.

You don't have to take classes to be a "quilter", quite a few of us are self taught.

I read every day the quilting board, but I have never written anything. Right now I am helping a elderly lady to organize her huge house for an estate sale. Your can't believe the beautiful handcraft things she has, and her children doesn't want them.

The first quilt I made had so many mistake, but it good, and the person I gave it too loved it.

Hello Ireland. My Maiden was McGuire. I love to sew and only make two. One doesn't count for it was from his shirts and jeans from my son when he passed away. I love to wrap myself with the quilt and the memories it holds.
