I love making & eating gingerbread. I make gingerbread houses only when I visit my sister in Arkansas. She has won numerous contests with her gingerbread houses; I'd rather sew. She is a professional genealogist & got me hooked on that, too, except that I do it only for our family.

Thank you. This avatar is a wall hanging called Bunny in the Garden that I did back in April. It was my first applique and was on display at the Texas State Fair this year. It was also my first time to do any FMQ. I made two of the bunnies. The one on loan to my sister in Arkansas was quilted with rakes, hoes & shovels. It was fun. :D

If you made the state fair, that is great. Got to be real good for that. We don't have a county fair anymore. I miss it. There is one in Tyler, TX 45 miles from here but never have time to go.
