Hi, just wanted to introduce myself and haven't got a clue as to what I'm doing ! I've never been on a chat/line , but would really like to be able to chat with other quilters and share ideas. But first I have to figure out what I'm doing on this computer !!! Hope I can muttle through this and find some new friends !Besides quilting I'm a very young at heart grandmother who rides a Harley that my husband built for me.I am "almost " a 5 year lung cancer survivor and I thank God everyday for all my blessings. I have 3 grandsons and 1 granddaughter,of course there all beautiful. Oh , did I mention I like to talk or write ??!!!

Judy The Harley Girl 04-05-2010 06:00 PM

Hey Bopeep, My brother lives in a small town outside of Concord and we got to the beach at Carolina B. or Kure B. almost every year. My husbands parents use to live there.I love it down there.

Quilting is agreat form of therapy, especially with all the snow you guys get,but we sure had our fair share too this year. Gardening is my favorite source of therapy but my body just isn't working with my brain !! My brain says I'm still in my 30's or 40's but my body is laughing it's head off at me !!!

Judy The Harley Girl 04-05-2010 06:04 PM

Oh yeah, I also love your cat,I have 4 and they are my babies, well except one,he grates my last nerve !

janRN 04-05-2010 06:10 PM

I ride the big horses because they make my butt look smaller.

MI Applique Queen 04-05-2010 09:35 PM

Hi Judy and welcome. I had a bike about 40 years ago. It wasn't a Harley or anything big. I gave it up after I was run off of the road for the second time and my son was on the bike that time. It was fun but now my SUV is my vehicle of choice. I can fit a couple of sewing machines and lots of fabric in it when going to retreats.
