hi beaGLE I AM ALSO FROM VA BUT AM AT THE BEACH AREA HAVE LIVED HERE SINCE 1970 SO CALL THIS HOME NOW I HAVE BEEN QUILTING SINCE 1980 AND IN 3 BEES MY FAVROITE TYPE OF QUILTS ARE SCRAPPY I AM RETIRED AFTER 35 YRS AT PHONE CO HAVE 2 GROWN CHILDREN AND 4 GRANDS 2 LIVE IN THIS AREA OTHER 2 ARE IN CAL. HOPE TO CHAT MORE WITH YOU IN CHAT ROOM

lol how are you going to find time to quilt and build a house! I helped my dad put hardy board on his house after huricane Ivan (Pensacola FL) and I was beat by the end of the day all I could do was shower and crawl in bed...life is good whatever dosnt kill ya will make you a stronger woman! Welcom!

Ya gotta make time for the important stuff. I am also pursuing an endorsement in Library Science online. I'll be a go-fer in the beginning, then help where I can.

My son lives in Arlington. Crystal City. He worked for a Nebraska Senator, and when the Senator retired he stayed and took a job with the Solar Energy Industries Assoc.

YES, I DO ! and ALA! Were you in Roanoke last November ? Are you going to the Hampton Conference? I submitted my request, but the way the budget is, I may not get to go.

I haven't been a member for a few years--too busy having babies! I tried taking my oldest to a conference when he was about 6 mo. old. I was able to go to one session and spent the rest of the time in the hotel room. I was the regional director for the Roanoke region about 5 years ago--planning those conferences is a TON of work. I hope to get involved in a few years---when my 5 wk. old is in school. Right now I'm home on maternity leave, but even after I go back to work I'm on autopilot most of the time.
