Hi, everyone! My handle is BeagleMom, and I started quilting a year and a half ago, but only recently finished my first quilt. I have another on stand-by, but there is a lot of progress completed on it. I have material for a patriotic quilt I'd like to construct, but cannot find an easy pattern.

About me: I am an elementary (K-3) school librarian and teacher in a rural community in south central Virginia. I have been here for just about four years. I re-taught myself to sew in Spring of 2007 with a new sewing machine my parents gave to me for Christmas.

I do have a Beagle Child. He is the sweetest, mellowest Beag. He is napping on the couch next to me. I adopted him from a Beagle Rescue Group. To protect his privacy, I will refer to him as MT.

This summer, I will be helping my dad buil my house. I made this quilt for the new abode, but MT and I are enjoying it now.

Hello and welcome from southeastern Michigan!! My mother, and several other relatives, live in and near Clincho, Virginia. It's an itty bitty little town that was started by the Clinchfield Coal Company years and years ago. It's in the far southwestern corner. I was born in Dante.
