Hello fellow quilters,
I've been lurking for quite a while and I guess it's time to come out of the woods. I am a self-taught quilter. Learned a lot from this board and still have lots more to learn. Started quilting last summer and caught the bug. So far I've finished one quilt (YBR with SITD - more like SOTD). LOL. I've also made a French Braid and a Garden Treillis (all those bias edges and I still haven't learned my lesson). From now on I will be hugging my starch bottle. Let's not talk about that first WIP/UFO. I hope to make a duvet cover or something with it one day. We'll see. A few weeks ago I asked my DH (who likes to play with computers) to make me a program to layout my quilts which he kindly obliged. I posted a link in "Links and Resources" for those interested. It's free for anyone to use/download. I really enjoy this board. Thanks for all the sharing and enabling. My wallet thanks you too. Happy Quilting! |
Glad to hear from you. We'd love to see some pictures of your quilts if you have them.

Welcome from the greater Los Angeles area. Sounds like you jumped into quilting with both feet! I'd love to see pictures of your french braid. I am getting inspired to do one from all the pictures I've seen in here.
