New to this forum and looking foward to reading and learning all I can. I am a 58 years young sometimes quilter. I quilt when enough fabric scraps accumulate to justify using them. I also love to tinker with old and not so old mechanical sewing machines,garden in self defense and raise rabbits and chickens. Aside from that I like to say I lay around and eat bon-bons.

Welcome from Washington, we use to raise rabbits and chickens, I finally said enough on the chickens when they kept eating all the new shoots on my perennials [I do miss the eggs] and the poor rabbits died because I accidentally poisoned them, what I thought was broccoli was actually tansy. guess I didn't deserve those poor rabbits. I'm doing okay now with finches and canaries, tho I'm partial to truffles myself.
