Hi and welcome from New York. I love the Rowenta travel iron unfortunately I am on my 3rd one. The others leaked. I still went out and bought another one because of the size and ease for working on patchwork.

Hi - just saw your post & the "Leander" I lived in till last year is N of Cedar Park & NW of Austin - west of IH 35 & West of Round Rock. Round Rock is NE of Austin & I thought Dripping Springs was SW of Austin, Between Austin & Fredericksburg???

Hello from Illinois. I bought a Rowenta and was so happy for about 3 weeks. Then it leaked and I was sure it was my fault. Paid about $100 for it. Now I use a cheap iron the neighbors threw out when they moved (call me Dumpster Diva). I would not buy anything like that again.

Hi and welcome. About three years ago I purchased a Rowenta and an inexpensive steam iron from Walmart (don't remember brand). I did a side-by-side test of them on several types of fabric, including heavy denim jeans, using with and without steam. They performed the same so I took the Rowenta back and spent the $$$ on fabric! I had to replace the cheap iron when I dropped it on concrete, got a Black and Decker (also at Walmart) and it works as well.
