I started sewing when I was eight, making Barbie clothes for my sisters and I. Moved up to garment sewing and then started quilting when I was in High School. To date I have been machine piecing, hand appliqueing and hand quilting. Last week I ordered an introductory level long arm quilting machine, can't wait for it's arrival! I've enjoyed going through the picture posts and feel I'm in good company here on the board. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all better and to seeing more of the amazing quilt work that you all do.

Thank you all for the warm and friendly welcome! I'm glad to be here! And all you country gals/NE gals can you slide on down on that bench and I'll wiggle on in and sit a spell with you! Omaha, Hastings, Grand Island, Panhandle (Scotts Bluff?) I get a round your areas quite a bit. We might have to work out some get-to-gethers in the future.
