I am making hexagons, too, only I haven't sewn many hex's into a circle yet. I just have a plastic see-through shoe box full of just the hex's I've sewn together. Can't seem to make up my mind what pattern I want to make, or how big, or what colors. But, at least it uses up my scraps and keeps my fingers busy while I am watching TV at night.

I'm working on a hexi quilt also, called Grandmother's Flower Garden. I'm trying to mine as a quilt as you go. Welcome to this great board.

Good to hear from you. I've been sewing double 30, but only quilting for 16 and now it is my favorite thing to do. There are several of us on here from Orange Co. I'm sort of new here too.
