Hi, everyone. I've been following along on this forum for a little while and have already found a lot of useful hints and ideas. I have been quilting for several years but still consider myself a beginner. Although I've taken a few classes here and there, I am mostly self taught by the trial and error method. I always say that each of my quilts have their share of "blood sweat and tears". My avatar is a quilt I designed and quilted for a family reunion this past summer. I machine piece and quilt on my Viking, but am also working on a hand pieced quilt that I also hope to hand quilt. Might take a class for that part! I look forward to learning a lot from all of you!

Welcome from Long Island. Cape Cod is my favorite place on earth. My husband and I vacation there frequently.

Heartbeat Quilts is fantastic. Tumbleweeds too. Every time I'm on the Cape I go to each of them. My DH is so patient. He drops me off, goes to get coffee or something, and comes back when I tell him I'm ready.
