Any ideas on machine quilting old hand pieced tops other than the fact it seems wrong to me... but for the customer :) I'm telling myself it will turn out fine, just not old fashioned.

I agree, a hand pieced quilt should be hand quilted, although I have read a number of times that the earliest sewing machines were often used to do quilts,the owners were so proud to have a machine that they used them for everything possible. piecefully, the old one
