Hello all!
I'm new to the board and have enjoyed looking at everyone's quilts on here. I have been in involved in quilting for some time, and seam-stressing before that, but I am trying to become tech-savvy :) I started machine quilting a couple years ago and continue to work on both my own and other's quilting projects. I have been posting photos of some of the quilts I have worked on my blog/website that my son helped me with,www.tadltales.com/blog/, and I would love to hear any comments you have. The website also shows my recent project, The Quilt and Batting Protector. Looking forward to talking to you all, Theresa http://www.tadltales.com/wp-content/...47-300x225.jpg |

Hello from northwest Iowa. This is a great site, you will love it. Where do you shop? We have family in southeast Iowa, so make a diagonal trip across state, always looking for a good place to break the ride. Never miss going to Kalona, while we are visiting, and love the Amana shops, too. piecefully, the old one

Have you been to Fern Hill in Homestead (I think that's the one, it's one of the Amanas) it is very nice but is in the upstairs of an old general store? There is also a cute shop in Conrad, what kinds of fabrics do you like to work with? batiks, retros, contempory, etc?
|
Welcome from Omaha, NE.

Hi, from Natchez, Ms.
|
Hey Theresa.......I'm in Georgetown Texas. Welcome :-D
|
Have been to Fern Hill several times through the past few years, but had forgotten about Conrad. I like CivilWar prints, have been trying to talk myself into a batik pattern, bought the book, that's as far as that went. Maybe this spring, after all the family things are over--piecefully, the old one
