I have definitely found the right place to learn what I "saw" as a youngster, and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the warm welcome!
I will be sure to look into the vintage section about my featherweight, she is my third and I have named her "Hattie", she is a 1941 model and I don't know...the name just seems right and she is now "home and re-loved".
