Hi everyone
My name is Tanja from way over across the ocean: the Netherlands. I am married and we have two sons, who have already flown the nest. I work parttime as project support officer at a non-profit organisation.
In my free time (always too little) I sew my own clothes and I love to quilt. I used to patch and quilt by hand, but due to osteoarthritis in my hands that is becoming more and more difficult and painful. So I had to switch to quilting by machine. So I am still learning as this is a very different technique. But practise makes perfect or almost. Looking forward to get in contact with other quilters. |

Welcome from Las Vegas! I'm from the Netherlands too, Haarlem. We moved to the US when I was 6, but I still have a lot of family there. I was there last February with a quilt for my Tante, and no one knew what a quilt was. I did meet one lady who quilted and she told me of a quilt shop there...nice for me!
