Hi Gail! Welcome to the Quilting Board from sunny Nevada! This certainly is the place to learn new techniques, and to have questions answered by a seasoned group of quilters, and sewers. I have run across several seamstresses on this board, and I myself used to be a seamstress, but then became hooked on quilting. It's addicting, this quilting, just like being on this board is addicting --- as well as great fun!
