My name is Gail from Florida. I was introduced to this group by my good friend Rosemary. She has had such a great time with all of you I wanted to be a part of it too. I love to learn new ways to do things and I am always open to new ideas. I like to make a variety of things as well as just quilts. I have a big family 7 children,16 grandchildren and 7 greatgrandchildren, so no shortage of people of all ages to make things for. I look forward to learning some new techniques and making lots of new friends.

Welcome aboard! This is a great place to get ideas and just about any assistance you might need. You should be warned upfront that this board can be addicting! That might be why some of us don't have all our Christmas items completed yet. Here's to a creative New Year!

Hi Gail! Welcome to the Quilting Board from sunny Nevada! This certainly is the place to learn new techniques, and to have questions answered by a seasoned group of quilters, and sewers. I have run across several seamstresses on this board, and I myself used to be a seamstress, but then became hooked on quilting. It's addicting, this quilting, just like being on this board is addicting --- as well as great fun!
