I live in Portland, Oregon with my husband and two Doxies, Duke & Lexie. I have 2 grown kids and 2 grandsons ages 2 & 5 months.

I have been quilting for 12 or 13 years and just finished turning both my kids rooms into a sewing room. Still need more space for my stash but that's not such a bad thing, right?

Hi there Maebug! I live in southern MO right now, but am for the PNW also...that'll always be 'home'! You do know that the 'salt' gets in your blood, right? I grew up a block off the bay across from Seattle. Have always lived in the country, but close enough to go into town for fabric with no problem! Now I'm 17 miles from the closest Wal-mart...ugh! Much rather go on into Branson or Springfield to great LQS! Take care & welocme to the board! :)

Welcome from 'way up North' in MN. I miss the GNW, was there for 30+ years, I go back often to savor the mountains.

Welcome from Delaware. I grew up in Oregon, and somehow have made it "from sea to shining sea". Isn't it nice to have your own quilt space! I take up my whole basement--hot flashes make it comfortable for me and only me :)
