Hi there .Thank you so much for your welcome..you know its interesting about Fabric from here. I found one online store in Sligo..they sell quilting fabric, but interestingly I think most of it is imported-Northcott fabrics are one brand that seem pretty universal..here is a link to the fabric section:

And the only Irish desgn I came across was this one
http://www.craftersbasket.com/patchw...s/cat_763.html but the price is three Euros fifty a fat quarter -about 4.25 dollars I think
Thanks for the link to hancocks BTW!

Hi there- will look out for you when you visit :-) Thanks very much for the link to Fat Quarters-their postage rates look very enticing..Oh dear..more money spent!!

Welcome from NY, would love to see your country some day. Having been searching on Ancestry. com to try and find out when my great grandfather came from Ireland. We can find him here when he served in the army in the civil war, but can't find out he came here.

The picture brings back so many good memories....we had plans to go to Ireland last spring.....in the end my husband didn't feel he could make that long of a trip...should have done it again sooner....we would LOVE the pace!!
