Hi, I live in Louisiana and have been quilting for about 4 years. I have sewn since I was in high school, so this is just an extension of that. I have 4 grown kids and 5 grands. My first quilt was an LSU quilt for my oldest grand. I have 4 cats and a girl mini doxie named Lili. I am retired but I don't make very good use of my time, lol.

Hi and welcome from Nebraska.

Schnauzers are so cute and I love their names. So original. I have had doxies for 50 years. My Lili is create training and she is much harder headed than my last one. I am determined that she will give in before I do.
Myrna, what type work do you do? I was fortunate that I could retire. I was into making candles and soap and other toiletries. Now my money goes for fabric and new gadgets. And every free pattern that hits the net, lol. |
Hello
I am in central Louisiana(Alex) Welcome to the board |
I lived in Oakdale and drove to Alex every day for 11 years. I drove twice as far to Alex than I did when we lived in the East Bay Area, but usually took me the same amount of time.
Do you know Ruby Mire who does long arm quilting? She has taught classes that I have taken. I sure miss Priscilla's. |
