Like many of you, I'm new to quilting and have already learned an enormous amount from members of this site. But I'm beginning to burst with questions so figured I'd register and post a few. Thanks in advance for all the guidance I hope you'll offer!

Good Morning! I am from across the river!!!!! Welcome to the Board. Lots to learn, lots of great people to know and you will really enjoy it. Be sure to do the Fab Shop Hop. That will get the morning juices going!

There is a new fabric shop in St. Paul called Twin City Quilting - It is in Roseville just off of Larpenteur and Lexington. Also there is a good shop on Grand Avenue in St. Paul called Treadle Yard Goods. That's all we have here except for JoAnn's and Hancock! Haven't been to Minneapolis to any quilt shops. They are way out. We live a few blocks from Macalester College, so when I go fabric shopping, I go fabric shopping and that has to last a while. Welcome, again. Edie

GO VIKES!!!!! (For what it's worth!!!!!)

That's right, Edie. Actually, we won't be back up to Lino for a couple of weeks. We missed the 12" of white stuff last week. I don't mind a little bit of snow at Christmastime, though.
