I am a retired junior high English teacher and a self-taught quilter. A couple of years ago I took my first quilting class and loved it. I have been reading these messages for awhile now, but just have to add that the Featherweight Fever caught hold after hearing about all of you who have them. The first few days after I got it I just couldn't get over how "cute" it was! I think I got a good deal but am kind of concerned about getting the tension adjusted just right.

Hello from Illinois. Most of my husband's family is still in Nebraska. McCook, Grand Island, Columbus, Bellevue. My father-in-law is even a retired teacher so you and I are nearly related! :D
There are many featherweight fans on the board to help you with any questions that come up. |
Hello from Iowa. I am also a retired teacher. This is my first year out. How long have you been retired? I was a special needs teacher and as much as I loved my job I was heading for major burn-out.

My Mom was born and raised in the sand hills of your great state.
