Hello Anna, thank you. I was wondering if there are Dutch members. I live in Waddinxveen and you?

LOL Would you believe I lived in Waddinxveen when I was about 13! I went to the MAVO there. We lived far from the city and it was closer to Moercappelle (spelling?) Right now I live in Southern California. There are more Dutch on the board. Some are in the Netherlands and some in different countries like the USA. I think you will realy like the board. Everyone is very welcoming and helpful.

Hi Anna, It's unbelievable to meet a ex-Waddinxvener here. You didn't live that far from the city Gouda. It's only 6 km. And Moerkapelle is about 3 or 4 km. To which MAVO did you go? I don't know how old you are, but were you on Coenecoop College? Say the name Hogenelst something to you? I've been watch topics and I can read how helpful everyone is. I feel welcome here.

Hi Marvel, we had much snow in December. Our youngest, Nina, has a handicap and I couldn't go outside with her wheelchair. During the Christmas Holidays she was 2 weeks inside. :(

Thank you. How do you say that? The world is smaller than you think it is? That is what we say in Dutch.

Nina is born with a brain injury and when her play pen was to small, Theo build a other one for her. I needed something for on the floor. By accident I came on a Internet site about patchwork and quilting and I decided to make one for in the play pen. That was my first quilt. And in the meantime I've made also a photo mosaic quilt. See at the topic in pictures. I hope to learn a lot here.

Your mosaic quilt is amazing! I never saw that exact technique before. I followed your link that you printed, and google asked me if it wanted it to translate it to english, I clicked yes and it did! I like your rose colored quilt too, it is very pretty! J
ps: Although I live on the south coast of Texas I have cousins in Lunteren that make cheese.
