Hi,

I'm Loes and I live in The Netherlands. I'm married to Theo and we have 6 children. The oldest one is 25 and the youngest one, Nina, is 8 years old. I'm also a proud grandmother of 2 grandsons.
Nina is born with a brain injury and when her play pen was to small, Theo build a other one for her. I needed something for on the floor. By accident I came on a Internet site about patchwork and quilting and I decided to make one for in the play pen. That was my first quilt. And in the meantime I've made also a photo mosaic quilt. See at the topic in pictures. I hope to learn a lot here.

How nice! Where did they live? If you come, let me know. My wish is to go to The USA some day. I have that wish since I was a little girl and I don't know how come. Especially the southern states like Georgia, Alabama, Missisippi, Tennessee, Louisiana give me warm feelings. I think when I come to The USA, I feel finally at home.

Hi Donna,

I know Kenny Rogers lives in Georgia and he wrote in Nina's guestbook: http://nina3.write2me.nl/

Hi Donna,

I know Kenny Rogers lives in Georgia and he wrote in Nina's guestbook: http://nina3.write2me.nl/[/quote]

He used to live probably less than 100 miles from here. That was with his previous wife, I believe. He may still own the property though, as he had bought many acres. Haven't heard a whole lot from him the past few years. I know he has remarried and has a set of twin boys now...probably 9-10 years old. I do enjoy his music!

The twins names are Justin and Jordy and they are born in 2004. He is married to Wanda. Nina become very calmly when she hear his music. She don't understand a word, but I think there is something in his voice what make her calm when she is upset. So I wrote a letter to the fan club and Kenny replies in her guest book.

That is so good. I especially love his older music. Have a CD with just his hits that I really enjoy. Sounds as if you keep up with him. Glad your daughter enjoys his music so much... His music does seem to calm...
