Hello all, this site seems wonderfull... love just sitting and reading it all... so helpfull.. I would be considered a new "quilter" however I've done about three and love two of them.. still having problems picking colors out but learning by reading what others have to say about that.but do like kits... but what I'm really looking for is a quilt pattern that has turtles on it, can anyone help me - does anyone have one that they have done.. would love to make one for my future son-in-law as he loves turtles... thanks lu

Hi and welcome from Southern California! There is a cute one in Quiltmaker Sept/Oct 2004. Since it is an old pattern, you may be able to get it on-line.

Welcome, enjoy the forum. There are some great people here. As far as a turtle block, I've seen some Paper Pieced Turtles. Would that work?

Here's a link to one. You might also think about Appique.
