Found this site while looking for Halloween quilt patterns. Have really enjoyed poking around already. Supposed to have some rainy weather this weekend due to Hurricane Irene (we live inland so not too worried). I can sit in the house on the internet and look at everybody's quilt pictures!! :-)

Hello
|
Cool! Welcome to the board! My parents live in Raleigh. I live closer to Charlotte now, but I go to Raleigh to visit about 5 or 6 times a year. My favorite quilt shop in Raleigh is Wish Upon a Quilt. I hope the weather this week-end is not too bad. Right now, it looks like it's just going to skirt the coast. My parents own a cottage on the beach though, so we are watching closely. I'm even more inland than you are, but we are still stocking up on bottled water, canned food, and batteries. We're praying for friends at the coast too. We have some really good friends who live there. Enjoy the board and welcome! I'm glad you found us!

Thanks! I have been to Wish Upon a Quilt but it has been awhile ago. I moved to Raleigh from Henderson in March and still getting acclimated. I keep telling myself I am going to Wish Upon a Quilt one of these days. Maybe this weekend!
