Guess I should formally introduce myself, since I've been lurking here for a while and posting a little too. I'm Donna from Rhode Island. I've been sewing for about 45 years, and quilting for about 20 of those. I also love many other crafts (knitting, crocheting, embroidery, smocking).

I pretty much taught myself after getting really interested in sewing in Home Ec class during middle school. Years later I graduated from the Master Seamstress Program in the University of Rhode Island's Continuing Ed department. Garment sewing was my first love, but hey, quilts don't have to fit perfectly which makes them awesome!

I look forward to getting to know everyone here.
