Hi, I'm from NJ also. Live in Jackson, central Jersey. If you live in that area, I could tell you about the quilt shops I like.

Welcome from Arizona!

Hi Sophie,
That would be nice if you could let me know what shops you have gone to in your area - here, one about an hour away is called Aardvark, in Morris Plains, my favorite and another about 1/2 hour away is Acme Fabrics in Pequanock, but the last time I went there - they had next to NOTHING. It was sad and scary!
There was a lovely shop in Closter - 15 minutes from my house, owned by a Korean woman which I loved, but she closed her shop.
One other one is in River Edge which is newer, but she doesn't have a big selection, and I feel bad if I go in there and don't buy something! But none of her fabric is exceptional - too too basic and boring.
In NYC there is City Quilters and Purl in the Village, but when you need something fast or need inspiration it isn't always convenient to get on the bus and go!

Hi and welcome from Alaska. Your quilts all three are beautiful. Hard to choose a fav.

Shop on line. I have lots of places I have ordered from with good results. We had two shops near me (15 mi) but one closed so down to one. The nearest others are over 50 mi away as is JoAnns. I stash build.
